Helping Hands
Ministry
Helping hands leads the hearts the church and community to love and serve our neighbor through service and outreach. They raise funds for various charities and are currently supporting a nursing student in Tanzania. Kid's
Ministry
We love our children and feel strongly that we need to bring them up learning of God's love for them and raising them to show Christ's light in the world.
We have a joint Sunday School arrangement with our sister congregation, St. Mark's. Our children attend regular Sunday School from Labor Day through Easter. They attend classes from 9am to 9:45am. Services begin at 10am at St. Mark's. Services at St. Peter's are normally the final Sunday of the month. The two congregations are less than 10 minutes apart so that the children may attend either church service without undue inconvenience.

Confirmation
Ministry
Confirmation Ministry is part of the shared ministry with St. Mark's. Our pastor leads a two-year program with an academic year and a church year, supplemented by church camp, service opportunities, and fun activities.

Classes are during "early out" from Pender School. The church education building is directly across from school.

Altar Guild
Altar Guild is an essential supporting ministry to church worship. A group of dedicated servants prepare the sanctuary for seasons and rites throughout the year. Guild members place colors and banners for services and ready candles, the baptismal font, the Eucharistic elements and occasional decorations for the sanctuary.
Everyone is welcome to join this wonderful group of leaders who enhance worship and praise God through their ministry.

Property Committee
Property Committee tends to the physical building and land surrounding the church. They are responsible for the care and maintenance of the church and they also manage the parsonage and adjacent cemetery.

Bible Study
Bible study is encouraged among all God's children. We have one regular bible study that is held at various members homes. We will offer occasional bible studies as we are moved by the Spirit. Listed below are several sources for personal study as well, with more to be added in the future.

Daily Discipleship + Daily Faith
Kitchen Committee
Kitchen Committee helps to coordinate and serve meals for weddings, funerals and other church functions. They call on members to help from the congregation depending on the size of the event. Their ministry helps those they serve to feel cared for and take concern off of attendees who may be experiencing a stressful occasion.
